So, How many times have you let the thought, “What will people say?” stopped you from taking a step that might obtain satisfying results? How often have you squelched your inner voice to garner peer acceptance?

Everyone has faced these situations in their lives countless times and on numerous occasions. But a sad reality is that we live in societies that are opinionated, biased, and judgmental. In our lives, often told to tune our tone and bravely stand up for what we believe in, to fight for what we think is right. We are persistently faced with the fear of repercussions if we consider challenging the status quo.

This defensive position is your natural response. Trust your instincts! The little voice inside your head; that gut-wrenching feeling you have; these are innate abilities that you have never focused upon or harnessed to their fullest potential. Each time you hear that voice in your head will also be a time that you will experience a bursting bout of energy in yourself. Seize that moment! That energy inside of you is an untapped potential that you need to capitalize upon, so do not shy away from it or freeze into inaction; turn that roiling turmoil of emotions into fodder that feeds your fire.
